Tool monitoring directly on the driven tool holder!

The new MT-DCM Digitally Connected Machining technology, conceived in the Industry 4.0 perspective, allows the measuring and real-time transmission to the machine of some parameters detected during the machining.

The information provided by the MT-DCM driven toolholder can be used for tool breakage monitoring, preventive replacement of the worn tool, auto-tuning of the machining parameters and analysis of the working conditions of the machine.

An advanced process monitoring system, very sensitive and directly placed on the driven toolholder, immediately close to the workpiece, capable of detecting even small variations. An essential device for highly automated production processes, which allows to reduce scraps and optimize the machining parameters.
